The Pentagon has awarded Oracle a nearly $7 billion (over ₹67,000 crore) agreement for up to 10 years to consolidate on-premises software licenses under a single contract. The deal covers the Department of Defence, Coast Guard and intelligence community. Officials expect it to save at least $441 million by easing software procurement, improving spending visibility and reducing duplicative costs.
