Ganga Aarti was held for the first time on River Thames in UK on Sunday. Thousands of people gathered on the banks of River Thames in London for the Aarti, a ceremony of light and thanksgiving. The event, ‘Ganga Aarti on the Thames: A Ceremony of Light’, was organised by Chinmaya Mission UK in collaboration with annual ‘Totally Thames’ festival.
