India supported its neighbours amid the Middle East war by supplying 38,000 metric tons petroleum to Sri Lanka and 22,000 metric tons diesel to Bangladesh. India provided uninterrupted energy supply to both Nepal and Bhutan. Talks are ongoing with Mauritius to provide help to the county, while requests for help from Seychelles and Maldives are under consideration.
