Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena protested in Maharashtra Assembly, demanding action against "partisan" SP Tushar Doshi for allegedly aiding ally BJP in the Satara council chief poll. Shinde said Shiv Sena Tourism Minister Shambhuraj Desai informed him that NCP members were arrested before the election. The BJP won the election even as Sena-National Congress Party (NCP) combine had the members.
