Walmart-owned Flipkart plans to add 800 dark stores by 2026-end as it continues expanding into several tier 2 and tier 3 cities, a UBS report said. The company currently operates 750-850 dark stores, more than its rival Amazon, which has 450-500 dark stores so far. Quick commerce platform Blinkit, which has over 2,000 dark stores, leads the tally.
