The Election Commission on Wednesday issued a notice to Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge after he called PM Narendra Modi a "terrorist". The EC sought an explanation from him within 24 hours. Kharge had made the remark while criticising the AIADMK for forming an alliance with the BJP for Tamil Nadu Assembly polls. Senior BJP leaders, including Amit Shah, criticised Kharge.
