They named Matthew Hayden and Alastair Cook as openers, followed by Ricky Ponting, Joe Root, Steve Smith, Ben Stokes, Adam Gilchrist, Shane Warne, Pat Cummins, Stuart Broad and Glenn McGrath. They picked Pat Cummins as the captain of the XI.
