The tallest statue of Dr BR Ambedkar outside India was inaugurated in US' Maryland on Saturday. Over 500 Indian-Americans gathered to attend the unveiling ceremony of the 19-foot-tall statue called 'Statue of Equality' at the venue, Ambedkar International Center. Notably, the statue was built by Indian sculptor Ram Sutar, who also built Sardar Patel's 'Statue of Unity' in India.
